Arnie formed Income Property Lending (IPL) in September, 1995 as a division of the All Star Group, Inc.
He serves as President of IPL and is a corporate officer of All Star Group.
Prior to employment with IPL, Arnie was Vice President of Commercial Real Estate Lending for Pacific
Thrift and Loan, and he was a principal of United Commercial Credit Industries (UCCI). Previously he
held the position of Vice President/Sales Manager and assisted in the training and development of the
marketing staff while employed with Foothill Thrift & Loan / Foothill Capital Corporation for 9 years.
Mr. Garfinkel has been a featured speaker for various organizations, including - California Association of
Mortgage Brokers, National Association of Mortgage Brokers, California Mortgage Bankers Association,
Building Industry Association, American Industrial Realtors Association, R.I.A.O.C., and Crittenden
to name a few. Arnie produces many events for other organizations including the Soulland Regional
Association of Realtors, Long Beach Commercial Real Estate Council and the California Lodging
Investment Conference aka [CLIC].
He is past president of the Tarzana Chapter of Toastmasters International and served as a Board of
Director and Vice President of the Southern California Chapter of the Florida State University Alumni
Association.

Ryan Patap is the Senior Director, Market Analytics for CoStar, where he is responsible for Costar’s coverage of Los Angeles’ commercial real estate markets. Ryan has over eight years of experience in real estate research and over a decade of experience in the commercial real estate industry. He was most recently at CBRE Global Investors, CBRE’s investment management business, where he was a Director in the Research & Strategy team. Previously, Ryan started his career in research at Heitman, a real estate investment manager based in Chicago with $44 billion in assets under management. Ryan has a B.A. in Economics from Yale University.

Fred Ornelas is Regional Manager at Axos Bank (formally known as B of I Federal Bank). With over 30 years of multifamily and commercial lending experience, he has originated more 3,000 multifamily and commercial loans totaling well over $2.0 billion. He has been with Axos Bank for 8 years and remains consistently among the top 3 producers every year. He attributes his success to thinking outside of the box and his hard work ethic.
Mr. Ornelas earned his Bachelor of Administration in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from California State University, Fullerton. He also holds California Real Estate Broker license.

Ryan Huntsman serves as a Vice President of Sales for Chicago Title Company’s National Commercial Sales division in Southern California. He joined the company as a result of the recent acquisition of the TransAmerican Escrow Company in Newport Beach.
Ryan started his career in commercial real estate in 2002, working in Escrow. Since then, he has exceled in various positions within the Title Insurance and Escrow industries. He is always a perpetual student of our economy, and holds Series 6,7, 63, 65, 66 Securities licenses along with Life and Health Insurance sales licenses. Currently licensed in real estate sales, Ryan is well versed in both commercial and residential contracts. After successfully helping a multi-million dollar start-up company flourish, he eventually negotiated the acquisition of his company.
He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Boys Hope Girls Hope, and is very proud of his twelve years of service to this very worthy cause. As a result of being a certified non-profit manager, he has financially assisted with the finances of this tax-exempt organization, and is responsible for raising approximately $3.6 million in donations since 2002.

David Rosenthal, MAI, FRICS has over 30 years of commercial real estate appraisal
experience working with lenders, equity sources, attorneys, and public agencies. Prior to
co-founding Curtis-Rosenthal, Inc. in 1983, he worked at Security Pacific National Bank as
a corporate banker. He has an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at
Northwestern University, and a BS in finance from the University of Florida.
He lectures on real estate at UCLA and Loyola Marymount University, and is a frequent
author for commercial real estate publications.

With twenty years of experience in income property lending, Lindsay has played a critical role in the closing of over $2 billion in income property loans. Prior to joining EverBank, Lindsay worked for regional and national lenders as a loan production officer and top producer’s associate. She has a great deal of experience in income property analysis, loan processing, deal coordination, and originations. Her comprehensive knowledge of the loan process from origination to funding, make her a great asset to any transaction.
Lindsay earned her Bachelor of Business Administration and MBA from Loyola Marymount University.

Peter Meyers is in his 40th year of banking, currently as the Senior Commercial Lender in South Orange County with Farmers & Merchants Bank. His exposure to all facets of banking including operations, back office and senior management gives Mr. Meyers an unrivaled ability to put together complete banking solutions for his clients. Meyers is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University and the Pacific Coast Banking School Graduate Program at the University of Washington.

John MacLean is the Executive Vice President of Fidelity Mortgage Lenders, Inc., and heads up the Company’s Loan Origination, Loan Servicing and Escrow Departments. John is a 25-year banking executive and has funded in excess of $1.5B of commercial, multifamily, hospitality, bridge and construction loans.
Prior to joining Fidelity, John was SVP of Commercial Real Estate Banking at Banc of California for 5-years and held the position of Executive Director/Senior Loan Consultant, for JPMorgan Chase’s Commercial Term Lending Division for over 10 years. John also held several Senior Management positions in Loan Servicing for over a decade with Washington Mutual Bank and Home Savings of America and was also involved in selling and securitizing thousands of SFR and Commercial loan portfolios.
John received his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, at San Diego State University and has been a Licensed Real Estate Broker since 1993. He is active in his community and served on the Board of Directors of Habit for Humanity for 12 years and is currently an Assistant Scout Master, for the Boy Scouts of America. John is married with three teenagers and lives in Westlake Village, CA.

Valerie Hapner grew up amid rich cultural diversity in Montreal, Canada, and her ability to speak four languages — English, French, Spanish and Hebrew.

At Forbix Financial, Valerie has many of the resources needed to facilitate a variety of residential and commercial projects. Valerie has 13 years of experience in real estate investment, development, brokerage and lending. She has been involved in deal origination, acquisition, debt restructuring, joint ventures and has financed properties across 20 states.

As VP of Originations at Forbix, Valerie helps developers find the right source for funding and identify appropriate exit strategies for each undertaking. While she works with a variety of commercial and residential clients, she specializes in financing existing and new construction apartment projects.

Valerie is passionate about healthy eating and active living. She is a world traveler and continues to enjoy connecting to new cultures.

Peter has 26 years of experience in the banking industry providing various financial services in the areas of management, operations and sales.. He is responsible for directing and developing new clientele to the bank with revenues ranging from $1 million to $100 million.
His career started as a bank teller with Wells Fargo Bank. Peter’s previous positions have been in management, operations, credit underwriting, sales, marketing, and managing a $30MM real estate portfolio.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with emphasis in accounting from DeVry University at Pomona. Moreover, Peter has received his Executive MBA from Loyola Marymount University at Los Angeles. In addition to his academic education, Peter has completed various credit lending programs through Wells Fargo Bank, Bank of America and Wachovia Bank.

Mr. Paulsen has been involved in the real estate industry since 1988 and directly involved in the buying, selling, brokering, managing, underwriting, developing and auctioning of over $10B in commercial real estate assets across the United States in all product types.
In July 2021, he joined Kidder Mathews as the Regional President, Brokerage, sharing the responsibility of overseeing and managing 7 Southern California offices and 1 Arizona office consisting of approximately 196 brokers, along with property managers, appraisers and support staff.
Prior to joining Kidder Mathews, Mr. Paulsen was a Founding Member of Topside Real Estate, a boutique firm designed to help clients maximize the value and efficiency of their real estate portfolios.

Prior to joining LNR, Mr. Paulsen was a Vice President at CB Richard Ellis for 12 years focused on investment sales of commercial real estate.
Mr. Paulsen holds officer positions and sit on multiple boards of real estate, non-profit and charitable organizations, including NAIOP So Cal (Executive Committee/Vice President), Building Block Foundation Fund, CDM High School Foundation (President), and the CDM High School Girls Tennis Foundation (President).

A prominent figure in the commercial finance industry, Dain K. Court has over a decade of experience working in real estate finance. After obtaining a degree from the University of Southern California, Dain successfully cultivated a career in financing. An entrepreneur with keen business acumen, Dain served as Senior Vice President/Business Development Officer for Plaza Bank, established Court Capital, a commercial real estate finance brokerage, served as CEO of New Day Trust Mortgage, and was a founding member of First Direct Mortgage. A man of many hats, Dain has a background in film production. He earned an Emmy nomination for his role as Unit Production Manager for the AIDS Project Los Angeles documentary, “Heroes.” Dain believes in personal and professional balance. When he isn’t financing highly complex commercial transactions, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.

Ms. Redlin has more than ten years of experience in the environmental consulting industry. She is one of the founders of Partner Engineering and Science and is a Principal in the firm. Ms. Redlin has extensive experience in testing soil, soil gas, and groundwater in the context of a real estate transaction, as well as under the supervision of state and federal regulators. Her background in environmental science, in addition to her knowledge of current environmental regulations and the real estate industry, allows her to offer comprehensive environmental consulting services for real estate transactions. Ms. Redlin has extensive experience managing all aspects of due diligence- environmental, engineering, asbestos, lead based paint and radon surveys for nationwide and local clients such as developers, brokers, private equity funds and lenders including SBA, HUD, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, portfolio, and insurance lenders.

Cliff has extensive experience and knowledge in lending, notably with complex SBA transactions and special use property. Taylor received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno.

Randy Jones is Business Development Officer and Senior Vice President with Spectrum Lending, based out of Irvine. Spectrum does mostly owner-user lending, and specializes in SBA 504 loans, that provides up to 90% financing. Randy joined Spectrum in 2011, and his market concentration is Long Beach, the South Bay and the West Side.

Before joining Spectrum Commercial Lending, Randy was an SVP with Bank of America in the same capacity for 14 years.

He is a graduate of Kent State University and Case Western Reserve University, both in Ohio.

Randy enjoys real estate investing and working out in his spare time, as well as international traveling. He has been to 15 countries.

John MacLean is the Senior Vice President of Commercial Real Estate Banking for Banc of California. In this position, John and his team are responsible for financing commercial real estate (multifamily, office, retail, industrial, mixed-use, self-storage, student housing, bridge and construction loans) as well as leading the Banc’s growth and expansion in the Greater Los Angeles Market.
John has over 25 years’ experience in Commercial Real Estate and Banking, where he has created, built and supported high performing teams. Most recently, John was an Executive Director at JP Morgan Chase and over his 24 year career with Chase, WaMu and Home Savings, he focused on CRE & Multifamily Lending, Asset Management, as well as holding Senior Management positions in Loan Service and Capital Markets.
John attended San Diego State University where he received his Bachelor Degree and has been a California Licensed Real Estate Broker for over 25 years.
John is active in the community and served on the Habit for Humanity Board of Directors (San Gabriel Valley) for over 10 years. John has three children and lives in Westlake Village, CA.
